Help us protect the details only family may know
Our elders and family storytellers carry knowledge that may never appear in an official archive: nicknames, relationships, migrations, traditions, places, family connections and the stories behind them.
We also welcome information about relatives who have recently passed away. A death announcement, funeral notice, obituary, memorial booklet or personal tribute can help us update the family tree promptly and preserve their place within our history.
You do not need to know every detail. Even one name, date, photograph or recollection may provide the missing link that helps another branch of the family understand its story.

Choose the area that best fits what you have. All genuine contributions, whether large or small, are valued.
Elders, memories and family stories
Share a relative’s full name or nickname, the branch they belong to, places they lived, relationships, occupations, traditions, memories or stories passed down through the family.
Recent passings and memorial records
Notify us when a relative has passed away and, where available, include a death or funeral notice, obituary, memorial programme, tribute, photograph and the relevant dates and places.
Records, photographs and corrections
Send certificates, family Bible entries, newspaper clippings, portraits, labelled group photographs or a correction to information that already appears in the family tree.

What to include if you know it
Please share only what you feel confident is correct. If a detail is uncertain or was passed down by word of mouth, simply tell us so—we can record it as a research lead rather than a confirmed fact.
Open the online recorder form- Full name, maiden name and known nicknames
- Parents, spouse, children or family branch
- Birth, marriage and death dates or approximate years
- Villages, islands, countries or addresses connected to them
- Occupation, church, military or community involvement
- Obituary, funeral notice or memorial programme
- Photographs with names, dates and places where possible
- The source of the information and how you are related

Accuracy, respect and family privacy
Submissions may be reviewed, compared with available records and clarified with the contributor before they are added. Sensitive personal details about living relatives will not be published simply because they were submitted. Please obtain permission before sharing private documents or photographs belonging to someone else.
