A Celebration of Life in Memory of
Jerome Carlton
Brown
Aged: 58 Years
OBITUARY
Born on June 17, 1967, Jerome Brown was the baby of Olive and Robert Brown (Deceased). Arriving into the world prematurely, he quickly showed the quiet strength and resilience that would come to define his life.
Jerome began his early education at Five Cays School—today known as Enid Capron Primary—and later continued at The Bight School, now Ianthe Pratt Primary School. From a young age, he stood out for his determination, curiosity, and strong sense of family. He began his career working alongside Marvin Johnson in Providenciales, where he developed the foundational skills that would guide his professional journey. Later, Jerome established his own company, Atlantic Construction, which became a respected name across the Turks and Caicos Islands. One of his memorable subcontracting jobs was with TDMG. Through his leadership, countless homes and commercial buildings were brought to life—his craftsmanship leaving a lasting imprint on the built landscape of the islands.
Jerome was married twice, first to Marlylou Brown, then to Adeline Cesar-Brown.
Jerome divided his time between Miami and Turks and Caicos, always maintaining close connections with both places. A man of deep faith, Jerome found great joy in singing at church and was a cherished member of the Gospel Soul Seekers, a group that uplifted many with their ministry in music. His passion for gospel singing reflected his soulful heart and commitment to spreading light through his voice.
More than anything, Jerome was a family man. He cherished his children and remained deeply committed to their well-being and happiness. His warmth, quiet wisdom, and unwavering support made him a constant source of strength to those closest to him.
On July 15, 2025, Jerome's earthly journey came to a close. Though he is no longer with us in body, his legacy lives on in the structures he built, the lives he touched, and the family he loved so dearly. He will be remembered with deep affection and gratitude—for his work, his faith, and above all, his heart.
